If you’re in a waiting season, you already know how confusing, lonely, and outright painful it can feel. The longer you pray and wait for the desire of your heart—whether that’s clarity, a relationship, a baby, healing, career movement, an open door, or fill in the blank—the easier it becomes to lose hope. You start to wonder if God sees you or even cares, or if maybe you missed the boat or somehow messed up His plan (spoiler alert: you didn’t).

The in-between is one of the hardest places to live, and that’s why I wrote The Waiting Well. Scripture is full of hones stories about waiting, and when we drink deeply of God’s Word, it pours into our parched and weary hearts the very hope, truth, and encouragement we so desperately need. It points us to the unchanging character of God. And it paints a picture for us of what it looks like to wait on the Lord well.
